A slow internet can be very frustrating. Nobody likes to sit in front of a computer waiting for a movie or song to get downloaded or buffered. There are many internet tweaks and tips all over the internet but if you try all of them then your connection speed can become worse than before.
the main thing to keep in mind is about 80% of your connection speed depends upon your service provider and the remaining 20% can be optimized manually to get a little increase. This 20% is reserved for windows by default.
here i'm posting a simple way to change this from system reserved to your personal use.
DO YOU KNOW:-
"The Internet is a global system of interconnected computer networks that use the standard Internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to link several billion devices worldwide. It is an international network of networks that consists of millions of private, public, academic, business, and government packet switched networks, linked by a broad array of electronic, wireless, and optical networking technologies." From Wikipedia
Follow the steps given below to optimize your internet connection:-
STEP 1:- Click Start and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes in the search box.
STEP 2:- then on the left side go to Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templetes > Network > QoS Packet Scheduler.
STEP 3:- on the right side find "Limit Reservable Bandwidth" and double click it to open.
STEP 4:- on the top left side click on enable and change the bandwith limit (%) to 0
by default the value would be 20.
STEP 5:- now click OK and save the settings.
By doing this you can increase your internet speed a little bit. Please like, share and comment if this was helpful for you ... :)
