A few days ago my mouse stopped working because of a virus. I tried many possible solutions like reinstalling the drivers, Unplugging and then pluging in my mouse back and also searched the web and finally downloaded and installed a anti-virus to solve the problem.
I think many of you might have faced this problem or should be facing right now, working in your pc without a mouse is a very hard task. So i thought of sharing a simple way to use your keyboard as mouse.
Windows OS has an Inbuilt option called MouseKeys, not much people are aware of it. You can Enable/Disable mouseKeys very Easily.
You can Enable it by Pressing Alt + Shift + Numlock keys. when you press these keys, you will be prompt with the below dialog box, Just Click Yes to it.
NOTE:
Make sure that your num-lock is off while using your keyboard as mouse
That's it, Now you will see MouseKeys icon on your taskbar, which means now you are ready.
Use given numpad keys to control your mouse:-
NUM 5 = click
NUM 4 = move left
NUM 6 = move right
NUM 8 = move up
NUM 2 = move down
