computer tips : shutdown timer trick for windows 7

In this tutorial i'm going to show you a simple trick that shutdowns your computer after a desired time.
follow the steps given below to activate the timer.

STEPS:

  1.  Open Start menu and  type CMD in the search box. Right click on CMD and run as                administrator.
  2. Type shutdown /s /t 3600 and Enter.

                         Note : 3600 are the amount of seconds before your computer shuts down.
                                   So , 60secs*60mins=3600secs Means 1 Hour.

  3. Windows will display message about shutting down in 60 minutes.
  4. That's it .
TO ABORT :
  1. : open CMD and type shutdown /a To make an abort and stop the shutdown timer.
  2. A message will be prompted that the scheduled shutdown has been cancelled.
